The Handmaid's Tale: The Graphic Novel was released in spring of 2019 and immediately established itself as a critically acclaimed bestseller.
Renee Nault was chosen by author Margaret Atwood to adapt and illustrate Atwood's 1985 classic dystopian novel into a 240 page graphic work. Each page is hand-painted in vivid watercolor.
The book can be purchased at your favorite bookstore or online. Copies signed by the artist are available through the shop page. Several foreign-language translations are on the way for 2020.
